I am an Australian citizen currently working in the area of IT security in Brisbane.

Work

I am a senior security consultant at one of the most prominent cybersecurity companies in Australia, located in Brisbane, specialising in penetration testing services for corporate clients across the country and the region.

Previously I worked as a senior systems and security engineer at two largest IT consulting companies in Australia.

Prior to moving to Australia in 2017, and after achieving Master's Degree in Computer Science, I started my career as a Software Developer at a financial company comprising 12 offices in Switzerland.

Master's Program

I graduated with a distinction from the Master's program in Computer Science at the University of Zurich (UZH) in 2015. My major was software systems, and I did my thesis in the area of public cloud servers.

Certifications

I started my certification journey in 2014, and my highest achievement to day is an OSEP (Offensive Security Experienced Pentester), which I acquired in 2023, as well as CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Apart from that, I have a number of Cisco certifications, which I received between 2015 and 2019 (they include CCNP Security, CCNA CyberOps and CCNP Routing and Switching). I also possess other certifications in IT, which I have acquired throughout my career - MCSA Windows Server 2012, VCP Data Center Virtualization and ITIL Foundation.

Memberships

Since 2014 I am a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), and in 2017 I joined AISA (Australian Information Security Association). I benefit from my memberships by getting access to the latest news in the areas of science that I am interested in, and also by participating in conferences and webinars.

School

I finished my secondary school in 2008 with all excellent grades and got the completion certificate with honours. During the school time I participated in multiple competitions in Maths and Physics and won prizes at some of them.

Hobbies

There is a number of activities which I find exciting and like doing:

• One of them is traveling. I have already visited more than 30 countries in the world and plan to explore even more


• Another my hobby is sport. I am fond of swimming. At the age of 16-18 years old I was a champion of my city and was ranked #2 best swimmer in my home region. Now I keep swimming, jogging, going to gym and doing other sports on a regular basis


• And, of course, I like computers and I enjoy spending time learning something new
